Kevin Tracey
Director of Golf
The Gray Plantation Golf Club is extremely excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Tracey as their new Director of Golf.
“Kevin’s experience providing top notch service at some very high-end clubs makes him a great fit for Gray Plantation,” said Gray Plantation General Manager Terry Bascher. “He is passionate about providing exceptional service to members, and running great tournaments, leagues, and golf programs.”
Tracey previously worked in Austin, Texas at both The Hills Country Club and The Austin Country Club. Most recently, he has been the Head Teaching Professional at the Baton Rouge Country Club, where he taught roughly 900 lessons a year and was highly sought after for his teaching abilities. Tracey says that he intends to introduce a new standard of member service and golf operations management at Gray Plantation.
“Gray Plantation is an extremely well known and admired golf club within the golfing community. I am excited to be a part of that,” said Tracey. “The Stream Family’s constant commitment to excellence has led to it being rated as one of Golf Digest’s Top 100 Public Courses in the U.S. every year since 2005. To continue improving, it will take meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to provide one-of-a-kind service to our members, not to mention a fun and enjoyable experience. I can’t wait to get started!”
Tracey is already working with management to recruit a top notch Teaching Professional, as well as a new Assistant Professional. “Gray Plantation has great teaching facilities and there is an amazing opportunity to further develop the Golf Academy and attract top notch teaching talent,” he said. “In general, I think our members and players will just be really excited to see how energized the golf operations are going to be and how passionate we are about member and customer service.”
